CV Summary

Degree in Marine Sciences from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2020 and master´s in Marine Ecology from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) in 2022.

I started the graduate research in the Department of Earth and Ocean Dynamics at the Universitat de Barcelona on the quantification and current distribution of dissolved rare earth elements (REE) in Portman Bay as a means to determine whether mining waste deposits have altered the biogeochemical balance of these elements in the environment. I collaborated in the collaborate in the FLT Mediterranean Monitoring Network, BivalCat and Reinventat projects of the University of Barcelona.

I did my master thesis on the investigation of the demographic self-regulation process in Pinna nobilis metapopulations at the Balearic Islands Oceanographic Center, IEO-CSIC. During this period I was involved in several diving field studies with GEN-GOB and in the oceanographic research (MEDIAS) on board the research vessel Miguel Oliver. After finishing my master's I worked in outreach and management of sea turtle nests in the Balearic Islands with COFIB and in the global change group at IMEDEA.

In March 2025 I joined the group of Anthropic Impacts on Coastal Ecosystems (IMPACT@SEA), whose leader is Dr. Salud Deudero, within the ESMARES3 project specifically in the Descriptor 2 (led by Maite Vázquez Luis), in which monitoring and assessment of non-native and invasive species under the Marine Strategies Framework Directive is evaluated.
