CV Summary I am a marine environmental scientist, holding a Ph.D. in marine science. Presently, I am a postdoctoral researcher (Daniel Carasso Fellow) at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIC), in the Group of Ecosystems Oceanography at the Balearic Islands. Throughout my career, I have been involved in more than 15 research projects spanning topics including food-web dynamics and life-history traits of commercial species, fisheries co-management plans and socio-ecological climate vulnerability assessments. My current research focuses on understanding marine ecosystems functioning, with a keen focus on the impacts of global change on fisheries socio-ecological systems. The ultimate objective if my research lies in providing scientific support for the development of climate adaptation strategies. I obtained my PhD degree in Marine Sciences at Polytechnic University of Catalonia the dissertation of “Ecological and Functional role of Small Pelagic Fish in the NW Mediterraean Sea”, that I conducted in the Institute of Marine Science (ICM-CSIC) funded by a competitive FPI grant of the Spanish Ministry. In 2017-2019 I worked as a research coordinator and research assistant in European projects at the ICM-CSIC, and collaborated with Spanish national projects. From November 2020 to May 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Centro de Ciências do Mar at the University of Algarve (Faro, Portugal) studying the ecological and socio-economical vulnerability to climate change of Portuguese fisheries. From June 2022 to May 2024, I had a postdoctoral research contract Juan de la Cierva Formación at the COB-IEO-CSIC. Since June 2024, I have continued my postdoctoral activity at the IEO-CSIC with the financial support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation, awarded through the 'Daniel Carasso Fellowship 2023' program.
