CV Summary Juancho Movilla has experience assessing the consequences of ocean acidification and global change on marine calcifying organisms, especially in temperate and cold-water coral species from the Mediterranean Sea. He has also been working with tropical coral species in Mexico (Autonomous University of Baja California, Ensenada) and Australia (Global Change Institute, University of Queensland, Brisbane). During his PhD studies, he acquired an extensive experience designing several manipulative experiments in aquaria, as well as deploying different underwater autonomous systems to acquire long time-series of marine physicochemical parameters. He has participated in a large number of sampling campaigns in the Mediterranean Sea, the Pacific, South Atlantic, Arctic and Antarctic oceans. Since 2017 he is working as a technician in the logistical support of the Research Station “Jaume Ferrer” in La Mola, Menorca. Links ORCID Google Scholar Research Gate Update in July 2022 |
