CV Summary

I am a technician member of the Marine Reserve (RESMARE) research group. After graduating in Geography (University of Barcelona) I graduated in a master’s program on Marine Ecology (University of the Balearic Islands) and one in Marine Resource Management (University Centre of the Westfjords)

My theses were focused on the analysis of the distribution of marine species by means of acoustic data. These studies were carried out in this institution studying the usage of space by the Mediterranean slipper lobster (Scyllarides latus) and at the Estación Costera de Investigaciones Marinas (ECIM-UC), studying the spatial characteristics of Chilean kelp forests (Lessonia trabeculata).

I am developing my expertise in the usage of geographic information systems (GIS), seabed mapping and other technologies as tools to enhance our understanding of marine species and their environment so that we can improve our relationship with the ecosystem by managing and conserving its resources in a sustainable and responsible way.

After being part of the LIFE IP INTEMARES project (2019-2024) I am now a member of rocky infralittoral team within the Marine Strategy Framework Directive project (2025- ).
