Short CV

I studied Environmental Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). After graduating, I completed a Master’s degree in Marine Biology: Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of La Laguna (ULL).

For my Master’s thesis, I investigated the effects of dietary Artemisia annua supplementation on the growth, oxidative status, and plasma parameters of gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata L.) at the Experimental Aquaculture Department of the Canary Oceanographic Centre (IEO, CSIC), where I also completed my Master’s internship.

I was awarded a JAE Intro ICU grant, which allowed me to join the Marine Microbiology Department at the Institute of Marine Sciences in Barcelona (ICM-CSIC), where I worked as a laboratory technician.

In April 2025, I began working at the Balearic Oceanographic Centre (IEO, CSIC) as a technician for the EUROCKFISH project: 'Toward a European Rocky Reef Fish Monitoring Network' at the RESMARIEO group.

Here, I am developing expertise in the analysis of Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems (BRUVs) using EventMeasure software. I also contribute to metadata entry, database management, and campaign logistics.
