CV Summary

Degree in Marine Sciences from the University of Alicante (UA) in 2020 and master´s in Marine Ecology from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) in 2021.

During my studies I have participated in biosecurity and invasive species projects at the Coastal Marine Field Station of the University of Waikato (Tauranga, New Zealand, 2020) and at the Department of Marine Sciences and Applied Biology of the University of Alicante (2020). In 2022-23 I was involved in an action of the Government of the Balearic Islands (CAIB) "Analysis of the vulnerability of protected marine invertebrates of the Balearic Islands" developed from the University of the Balearic Islands in molecular biology and conservation.

In March 2023 I joined the Anthropogenic Impacts on Coastal Ecosystems Group (IMPACT@SEA) supervised by Dr. Salud Deudero, within the European project LIFE PINNARCA (led by Maite Vázquez Luis) focused on the recovery of the fan mussel Pinna nobilis in the Mediterranean Sea.

Currently, I am dedicated to the monitoring of non-indigenous species at the Balearic Oceanographic Centre of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) within the ESMARES3 project specifically in the Descriptor 2 (led by Maite Vázquez Luis), in which monitoring and assessment of non-native and invasive species under the Marine Strategies Framework Directive is evaluated.
