CV Summary

I obtained the Certificate of Higher Education in Natural and Landscape Resources in 2012. Since then, I have been in the company IPD as laboratory technician for 9 months from July 2013 until January 2014. While I was employed my activities were the introduction of environmental data in an Access database, the identification of fish larvae in plankton samples and the identification to species level of tuna. Afterwards, from April 2014 until August 2014 I worked for CBBA Company as a laboratory auxiliary technician.

During November 2014 – September 2015 I had a contract in the European project Policy-oriented marine Environmental Research in the Southern EUropean Seas (PERSEUS). From October 2015 to October 2017 I obtained a scholarship as Technical Support Staff and I was actively collaborating with the research groups of Physical Oceanography and Larval Ecology.

In general, my activities were providing support for both groups. I participated in periodic research oceanographic campaigns in the framework of the project RADMED taking water samples by a rosette to analyze nutrients, chlorophyll-a, pH, salinity and other biochemical parameters. Besides, I participated in ichthyoplankton surveys targeting fish larva and zooplankton.

At the present time I’m hired in the research project "PAradigm for New Dynamic Ocean Resource Assesment and exploitation" (PANDORA) and my activities in the laboratory are the identification of fish larvae, identification to species level of tuna and use the analyze image system of tuna larvae to take body measurements. These data is introduced in the Access database and participatation in ichthyoplankton surveys.
