Abstract: The capture of three specimens of Seriola rivoliana is reported from Mallorca (Balearic Islands). It represents the first report of the species in the western Mediterranean and the fourth and fifth for the whole Mediterranean. Morphometric and meristic measurements are provided, and the presence of this species and other Atlantic migrants of the genus Seriola in the Mediterranean are discussed.
