MUÑOZ CABALLERO, Anabel

CV Summary

Anabel Muñoz Caballero graduated in Biology by University of Balearic Islands (UIB) in 2011, then she started her scientific career in the Centre Oceanogràfic de les Balears (COB-IEO) where she developed her Master in Marine Ecology. Since then, its main activity is the study of population dynamics of large decapods in the western Mediterranean. She has participated in various research projects of RESMARE group (ERICOL, LANBAL and SCYTRACK) related to ecology and conservation of decapods in Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas.

In late 2015, she received a fellowship cofunded by the IEO, the Regional Government of the Balearic Islands and the European Social Fund 2014–2020 and currently she is doing her PhD in the IEO project RECMARE on the population ecology of European spiny lobster Palinurus elephas in the Balearic Islands and forecasting management measures.
