CV Summary

Julia graduated with a BSc in Biology from the University Complutense of Madrid, MSc in Biodiversity and Bioloy Conservation from the University Pablo de Olavide and PhD in Plant Biology from the University of Balearic Island.

She also holds the professional certificates on Programming in Structured Languages of Management Applications, and Programming with Object-oriented Languages and Relational Databases; and a vocational training in Multi-platform Application Development. She has worked for four years in several national and international IT companies as functional analyst and software developer.

Since September 2023, she has been part of the Department of Oceanography and Global Change at the Centro Oceanográfico de Baleares (COB), working within the SEAFRONT Project. She later continued in the same project at the Instituto Mediterráneo de Estudios Avanzados (UIB-CSIC).

Currently, she has rejoined the COB in the framework of the BELICH Project.

Contrato enmarcado en el proyecto BELICH: "Seguimiento, Estudio y Modelización del Ecosistema Marino del Mar Menor", proyecto financiado desde 2023 por el Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico (MITECO), dentro del Marco de Actuaciones Prioritarias para la Recuperación del Mar Menor (MAPMM).
